Rob Younce
HEAD CONSULATANT
Rob was a 3-time All-TCIS and 2-time All-VA Prep shortstop. After graduating from Norfolk Academy in 1989, he went on to play baseball at the United States Naval Academy. He at second base started both of his years there before transferring to Old Dominion University. During his time at ODU, he moved to third base and the team was ranked as high as #10 in the country, including winning the CAA tournament.
Coaching
Rob is currently the Assistant Coach at Greenbrier Christian Academy and has been a coach in the Canes Baseball program for over 15 years. At Greenbrier, he coaches the hitters and infield. In 2020, he helped coach GCA to a VISAA Division II State Championship. With the Canes, he coaches the 14u & 15u National teams and assists with college recruiting. During his time with the Canes, he has helped hundreds of players with their recruiting journey, including navigating the MLB Amateur Draft. Anthony Burke
Head Consultant
Anthony graduated from Riverbend High School in 2014. From there he went on to Chipola College for his freshman year where he helped lead them to a conference championship throwing 52 innings posting a 2.1 ERA. His sophomore year he went to College of Charleston where he saw action in 11 games. He finished his career at UNC Pembroke where he went 21 - 4 in 2 seasons helping lead them to back to back regionals for the first time in school history. During his time at UNCP he had numerous honors including 2 time NCBWA All-Region … 2 time NCCSIA All-State … 2 time All-Peach Belt Conference … 3 time PBC Pitcher of the Week. He finished his college career throwing 238 innings posting a 3.23 ERA with 174 strikeouts and 48 walks.
COACHING
Prior to joining PRO5 VA, Anthony was previously the recruiting coordinator and Pitching Coach at Chipola College, one of the top junior colleges in the county. Before his time at Chipola College he was at Randolph-Macon where he was the pitching coach. During his time there he helped lead them to a 16-1 start and number 1 ranking in the country before COVID hit and ended the season. He graduated from UNC Pembroke in 2019, with a Business Management degree, where he also finished his playing career and helped lead them to back to back regionals for the first time in school history. Anthony has helped the Canes program in different coaching roles over the past 10 summers.

Frankie Everitte
Head Consultant
Everitte coached 8 years in college baseball, with stops at East Carolina University, Brunswick CC, Campbell University, and USC Sumter and has coached in The Canes organization since the summer of 2017. Under head coach Tim Medlin, Everitte served the 2016 & 2017 seasons at the recruiting coordinator/associate head coach for the University of South Carolina Sumter. Everitte’s 2017 recruiting class led USC Sumter to the Eastern District Regional Tournament and a Region 10 Championship. Prior to USC Sumter Everitte was Hired in August of 2014 by Head Coach Cliff Godwin as a assistant coach on his first staff as a head coach at East Carolina University. In year one the pirates won 40 games, winning the American Athletic Conference Championship marking a berth in the NCAA Coral Gables Regional on the Campus of the University of Miami. Everitte coached two seasons at Campbell University under head coach Greg Goff, Everitte helped the Camels to a 90-31 overall record, which included a NCAA Tournament appearance in 2014, a Big South Tournament (2014) and regular season (2013) title. The 2014 season saw the Camels cross the 40-win mark for the third-straight season on their way to the program's first NCAA appearance (No. 4 seed in Columbia Regional) since 1990 after claiming the Big South Tournament Championship. CU ended the 2013 campaign 49-10 ranking as high as No. 23 in the national polls, while winning the Big South's North Division Championship and taking a runner-up finish in the league's championship game, setting a school record for victories. Prior to Campbell Everitte spent two seasons at Brunswick Community College as the Recruiting coordinator under the tutelage of head coach Robbie Allen, Everitte assisted in coaching two All-American and six all-region selections, while helping send 14 players to four-year institutions., Everitte’s 2013 Recruiting class led BCC to its First ever NJCAA College World Series Appearance. Everitte Attended Coastal Carolina University working as a student assistant for head coach Gary Gilmore. While at CCU, he was responsible for assisting the Coastal coaching staff with day-to-day operations and aiding with camps. While at CCU, the Chanticleers went undefeated in Big South play and captured their fourth-consecutive conference title. The 2010 team set a school record for wins with a 55-10 mark, and hosted the Myrtle Beach Super Regional as the No. 4 national seed. Born and raised in Fayetteville, N.C., Everitte graduated from Gray's Creek High School, where he was a four-sport athlete, in 2006.

Bryson Massey

My coaching career started in 2013 after graduating from East Carolina University where I spent 4 years as Student Manager. I have been an Assistant Coach at Graham HS, North Pitt HS, Williams HS and Kannapolis A.L Brown HS. I am currently the Head Baseball Coach and a Physical Education Teacher at Cedar Ridge HS for 6 years now. I am going on my 10th year with the Canes Baseball Organization and 7th year as the National Scouting Director. Since starting my coaching career, I have helped hundreds of athletes continue their baseball career in college and had over 50 MLB draft picks. Also, have help multiple young men find new homes in the transfer portal.

Mike Phelps

Playing
Played 3 years of college baseball at Division II Central Missouri State University. Was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 11th round of the 2005 MLB Draft. Got as high as HIgh A before going to play Independent ball. Retired from playing after the season in 2010.
Coaching
Started doing lessons in the 2005 offseason and got into travel baseball in 2014. Have been on the national stage since 2015. Coached from 2015 till the fall of 2022. Since the fall of 2022 have been scouting director for Canes Baseball. During time working with athletes have had over 250 college commits and over 75 MLB draft picks
